From UX Designer for a web and concepting team to a UX Lead for the design team and Scrum Master and PO for the concepting team. I've learned a lot during my time at Schiphol Group.

tl;dr

  • UX Designer in both Webteam and Concepting team
  • Design lead for UX Researchers, UX Designers, Visual Designers and UX Copy writers (minimum of 6, maximum of 13)
  • Responsible for people and way of working of the design team
  • Picked up SCRUM Master and PO role when needed in the Concepting team
  • Increased conversion of Parking significantly after redesign
  • Designed and evaluated the Short Connection Units (kiosk)
  • Designed and evaluated the Self Service Units (kiosk)
  • Designed and evaluated a new boarding process
  • Design for a proof of concept for a chatbot with Google Home

Lessons learned

  • Differentiating between main challenge and sub challenges in the concepting team
  • Lean UX and rapid prototyping
