Born in Tehran in 1981, and raised in The Netherlands since 1987. Poyan, (pronounced Pouyan, yet for some reason not written that way) is fluent in Dutch and English and loves to talk in both languages about digital design, digital literacy, films and games.

As a designer, he believes his main two goals are to minimise the risk of building the wrong thing and to reduce the lack of adoption, of the built solution, by the end-user. And as a lead, he believes he should focus on communicating and coaching others on those two goals.

After working for several different companies across multiple industries, Poyan has chosen to continue as a freelance designer (UX/Interaction/Product) or lead depending on the client's wishes and the project's demands.
